Volume conversion questions
How are US liquid measures related?
1 gallon = 4 quarts = 8 pints = 16 cups = 128 fluid ounces. One cup is 16 tablespoons and one tablespoon is 3 teaspoons.
Is a UK pint the same as a US pint?
No. An imperial pint is 568.26 mL and a US liquid pint is 473.18 mL, so the UK pint is about 20% larger.
How many mL are in a liter?
Exactly 1,000. A milliliter is also one cubic centimeter.
